Hotel Diplomat Palace - Rimini

Fin beliggenhet nærme strand. Ansatte var veldig serviceminded og snakket bra engelsk.

Synes frokosten var dårlig for å være et 4 stjerners hotell. Mest kaker og veldig dårlig brød. Rommet var i minste laget for en familie på fire personer.

Sea view from the balcony was nice, but the balcony was really small. Cleanliness was good. Pool area was OK.

Very noisy hotel. There was barking dogs outside of hotel, you can also hear music from beach to the room at late night. And you can hear everything from corridor to the room. In breakfast there was large selection of food, but unfortunately quality was not so good. Especially the automatic coffee, which was worst what we got during our Italy tourney.

Breakfast was excellent, staff was super nice and let us check out 2 hrs. later then usual. Great apertivo, nice pool

The rental bikes could be much better.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Very good location for shopping, nightlife, and beautiful beachfront location. We visited San Marino while we were in Rimini and feel that it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The buffet breakfast was incredible with a large selection of food and beverages. Over all it was a 5 star experience for our family.

Me and my wife stayed at the diplomat palace to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday. The rooms were cleverly designed to give a sea-view from each room. View was great, room was very clean, comfortable and well serviced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good if you appreciate a nice walk after a night out in Rimini centre (which we did). Breakfast was substantial with something for everyone.

This is nit-picking but the room was compact and there was some noise audible from other rooms sometimes. There could have been more info placed in the room (welcome pack, maps, things to see, places to go, travel info, buses etc).

Great price for given value.

Big and beautiful room, great location - supermarket is behind the hotel, very nice staff, delicious breakfast with big assortment of food at flexible hours (7-11).

We didn't like that the double sized bad was assembled out of two single mattresses. As a couple we prefer one big double sized mattress

Very convenient location - it could not be closer to the beach. The hotel designed in such a way that all rooms enjoy 'vista mare'. The hotel' s owner is very hands-on and approachable- he is in the hotel every day and if you have any observations/ suggestions - everything will be sorted for you. Buy the way, he is fluent in English. My room was bright and of a decent size, the bathroom was equipped with hydro massage cabin and they also have a spa upstairs(includes 2 saunas and massage room). They serve English breakfast which was quite substantial, also they have local dishes as well as fruits and vegs which was good for me as I am keen on healthy eating. Highly recommended place to stay.

Very clean, great facilities in room, good breakfast. Easy access to beach (just across the road) and local restaurants, shops etc.

Room balcony not very private being overlooked by hotel next door and also ajoining balconies. Directions / map provided by Booked.net completely wrong, approx 3/4 mile out. Address correct though. Use 1 way beach road to locate.

Nice and clean room, good size. Nice sea view. Located just across the street from the beach, very nice location. Pretty good breakfast buffet. Generally friendly and English speaking staff. Parking behind the hotel. Very nice spa on top floor, free and open all days (jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath etc). Free 2-hour bicycle rent although the shop closed at 18.00 so we had to be back by then. Free internet working very well.

Rather large gap in the corner of the balcony. It would probably be possible for our 1,5 year old son to squeeze through and fall to his death. This made us a bit on the edge in the room, so I would not recommend this hotel to a family with small children, unless you prefer to have the door closed at all times. The hotel could have been a bit closer to the centre but no big deal. Some noise from adjacent rooms. To enter the hotel with pram was sometimes a bit difficult since the owners (?) park their huge american vans just outside the main entrance.

The location of the hotel was excellent, very central and on the beachfront. Our room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods to suit everyone. The hotel has it's own allocated section of the beach and we were able to get sunbeds and towels everyday at a cost of 15 euros for 2 people.

Perfect location in Rimini. 50 meters to the beach and 25 meters to a 24/7 supermarket. Good size room for 3 people and an excellent bathroom. Terrace overlooking the beach and promenade area - very nice :-) Reception women speak English well. Breakfast buffet with everything (if you call before 9am). Beach logistics work exceptionally well - area 68 - fresh towels every day, everything works perfectly.

The swimming pool is closed from 12:30 to 15:30 every day, but it does not matter because you will be at the beach :-) When at the pool the lifeguard is very sweet :-) The family living next door to the hotel has 6-7 dogs barking all day, but they are resonably quiet at night (10pm-8am).
